CRISTINA MONTESINOS — Contemporary Abstract Painter
I’m a third generation Latin American artist living and working in Atlanta. Now a full-time painter, I spent over 25 years as a graphic designer and creative director. Seven years ago I transitioned to painting, working the last 4 years as a full-time painter.
I was born and raised in Costa Rica as part of a large, tricultural family of artists. I’m honored to have this rich foundation for my work and life as an international artist.
My greatest inspiration comes from my deep passion for and connection to nature. Drawing on my daily mindful practices and embracing her gentle, quiet, observational nature, my paintings reflect my responses to the often difficult happenings in our world.
